Nathan & Florez LLC d/b/a PassFlorida ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our website and services (collectively, "the Service").
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.
Usage data. We record your quiz responses, including which questions you answered, which option you selected, whether you answered correctly, and when the answer was submitted. This data powers the adaptive learning features and your progress dashboard.
Language preferences. We store your preferred display language and whether you have enabled bilingual (side-by-side) display mode. This preference is associated with your account and used solely to personalize your study experience.
Free trial data. If you use the free trial without creating an account, we set a cookie holding a random trial identifier and keep a count of answered questions against it on our servers, along with the topic and correctness of each answer. That record contains no name or contact details.
Results by email. After the trial you may ask us to email your results. If you do, we store the email address you give us, your score, the topics you missed, the exam date if you entered one, the language you were using, the text of the consent you agreed to, the time, and a hashed form of your IP address. We use this to send the results email and a short series of study emails, each of which includes an unsubscribe link, and to tell whether a later purchase came from that email. You can stop the emails at any time with that link or by writing to us.
Device and log data. We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address for security and debugging purposes.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We receive a transaction ID and subscription status but do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers.

Your data is stored on Supabase, a cloud database platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. All connections to our database are encrypted in transit using TLS.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PassFlorida or others.
We use browser cookies to manage your authentication session, to hold the free-trial identifier described above, to remember your language and the exam date you enter on our pages, and, if you asked for your results by email, to remember that request so we can tell whether a later purchase came from it. We also use local storage for user preferences and to hold an anonymous identifier used by our product analytics (see “Service providers” above). We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not record your screen or capture what you type. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics is disabled.
We retain your account and quiz response data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information and quiz history within 30 days. Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
If you asked for your results by email and did not go on to make a purchase, we delete that record after 180 days, keeping only a hashed form of the address so that we do not email it again. If you unsubscribe, we keep a hashed form of the address for the same reason.
Backup copies may persist in our systems for up to 90 days after deletion before being permanently removed.

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
